Staten Island Adventures

The family has moved from the long lived and loved Brooklyn to the borough of Staten Island and now Brooklyn is a place to visit. It's super fun when the kiddos are excited and scream Verrazano Bridge 15 times before and as we cross the waters between the two boroughs.

I really want to have a photo shoot on the Staten Island Ferry for my spring collection to introduce everyone to the beloved borough and clothes.

The New Exploration

The last two solo performances have been improvised. With almost negative time to rehearse I spent a couple hours at night in my living room dodging toys and furniture to dance. I listened to Lana Del Ray over and over and over to memorize the music. It was in my head and in my body. I often woke up still singing it in my head. I was really excited to see what would happen when I had more space and less stuff in my way. The performance was at The Muse for the MuseIam monthly showcase. It was an amazing showcase experience. I was the only contemporary dancer to perform. There was burlesque, silks, a hammock, hula-hoop and Chinese pole. The crowd was super supportive. I received wonderful feedback as well as generous compliments after the show. The next show is May 30th. Go if you can or even submit to be in the show.
