Christmas Caramels

Amish Caramel
2 c. white sugar
2 c. heavy cream
1 3/4 c. corn syrup
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring syrup, sugar, butter, and some of the cream to a boil. 
Keep stirring...
Add the rest of the cream slow so it continues to boil.
Stir some more...
Boil until it reaches 236-240 degrees it will be a beautiful brown color.
*Put a little dollop into cold water and check the texture.  If it's not thick enough keep stirring.

When is ready pour into a buttered tray. Let cool and cut into squares.  Wrap in wax paper.

Looking for ideas.

I have done a few of these events and with all of them it has been hard to display the skirts.  I have a rack and hang them for people to look.  The problem is they are all different.  I think it's hard to shop like that.  There is real place top try on what you think might be cute.  So people just move on. I need to get on all the social sites and see how I can get sales that way. Send me any suggestions! I'm also going to make more for girls. As a mom I never shop for myself.
